What is the minimum input volume of library preparation reagents? For example, can an amount that is lower than the package insert suggests be used?

The lowest input for internal testing is 500 pg. Generally, customers are not advised to proceed with low input volumes if the sample size is insufficient, because the amplitude of samples with too low of an input volume will be deficient, and subsequently, any library yield can only be increased by increasing the number of PCR cycles. But, an increase in the number of PCR cycles will directly affect duplicates.
